Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic 2021-2027

In the EU Member States, the NPA Programme area covers Northern and Eastern Finland, Northern and Western Regions of Ireland, and Northern Sweden. Outside the EU, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, and Northern parts of Norway belong to the Programme area. The NPA programme area is vast and participating territories are separated by long distances. Yet, similarities and linkages between the participating territories as well as common characteristics and shared development concerns in the NPA regions offer a strong basis for cooperation.

Interreg Aurora 2021-2027

Interreg Aurora is a brand new programme in the European Interreg community for cross-border cooperation 2021-2027, combining the previous  Interreg Botnia-Atlantica and Interreg Nord programmes. The programme offers opportunities and enables new and exciting cross-border cooperation in the northernmost part of Europe and Sápmi. Kainuu is not a part of the programme area but partners from Kainuu can participate in certain terms.

Baltic Sea Programme 2021-2027

The area of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme covers nine countries: eight EU Member States and one non-EU country.  The programme is about to offer new funding to public and private players around the Baltic Sea who want to shape the region with their smart ideas. These smart ideas will turn into innovative, water-smart and climate-neutral solutions; solutions that will improve the life of people around the Baltic Sea.
