Save the Dates 27-28 September 2023!

We welcome you to a seminar on sustainable tourism and the circular economy in Kajaani. The event combines interesting presentations and case examples on the topics related to accessibility, sustainable tourism and the circular economy in the Western Barents region. The guests will also get a chance to visit some Kainuu destinations.

The event is arranged in cooperation between the Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, Barents Working Groups (FoP) on Tourism (WGT), Working Group on Economic Cooperation (WGEC), and the Regional Council of Kainuu.

The event is supported by the The Finnish Presidency of the Barents Euro-Arctic Council 2021–2023 and has received IBA project funding from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.
